A thought provoking insight into depression in teens
Film was very thought provoking handling the topic of mental health in young people very well .The director did an excellent job in a gripping short film .This film is well acted by everyone involved .IIt certainly made me think .The main part of Anna is very believable portraying a young lady with depression.the film looks at a period of a few months and Anna dealings with friends and health professionals too.I felt quite sad in a few parts .Well done to everyone involved. I recommend everyone to watch the film as I'm sure you may recognize similar issues with people you know .A great watch from start to finish .Looking forward to seeing it again .
Fabulous, gritty and moving.
This was an Excellent film, sensitivity addressing serious topics in a gritty and realistic way. Quite shocking in areas,but not in a sensational way, more to demonstrate the thoughts, feelings and moods of the characters portrayed. Very moving, real and believable performances from all the cast. Brilliant use of props,wardrobe,color to signify depression. The music was emotive and fit the mood of the film perfectly. This film left me thinking more about the impact of mental illness, some of the messages will stay with me. I thoroughly believed it and was drawn in from start to finish. Director and actors worth following. A film that could easily be adapted for educational purposes and to raise awareness. Would highly recommend to all to start discussions around mental health, and how it impacts on all our lives.
