it never reach the so much needed climax
This is more like a drama than it is a thriller. its about a family fleeing from bad deeds from the past. the girl has been film during sexual relations,going webviral,mum and dad of more or less unknown reasons. its a kind of horror setup also, with a litterally speaking broken ghost steering the the plot of events until the family nearly sucumbs in desperate anxiousness. as a product i will accentuate a vivid and strong cinematography, the focus puller does a darn good job, the gloomy light settings and spooky shadow set ups ,and great natural scenery shoots , enhances the message of the film. the acting are just over average, and the story are at the same level. the pace isnt to bad but the great climax of a long buildup is absent. the score tries to make the gloomy feeling ,but works just like passable. allthough ive had some negative vibrations in this review, it is a beautiful and watchable film,, and the grumpy old man do put approved on this flick
Strange Storyline But I Enjoyed It - Definately A Good Watch
02/17/2019 I didn't expect much but got a nice slo-mo building surprise. Not a suspense/thriller, more like a layering of sensible events as they happen that turns into a decent movie. Watch for yourselves and decide. Bon Appetit
Will and Grace go Country
A home where an artist had a murder-suicide, is bought by an artist who also has a wife and daughter. The place was visited by some Black Dawn bikers who never came out alive. Will (Nick Farnell) surfs porn which seems to have affected his husbandly duties. Sam (Scottie Thompson) is the frustrated wife who bought and runs the local drug store. Their daughter Grace (Autry Haydon-Wilson) has issues. Bad eyesight is one issue, but there is something from her past that remains a mystery to us for no particular reason until an hour into the film. The house is believed to be haunted. Items are being moved around and the TV turns on by itself and surfs porn. Will looks like he could be the offspring of Michael Berryman with his shaved head. The film included a lot of drama (chick horror) but things come together at the end in a foreboding fashion. Guide: F-word, sex, nudity (Scottie Thompson, Autry Haydon-Wilson? + flasher)
