Ghost Blues: The Story of Rory Gallagher (2010) Reviews
Does what it says
Touching documentary about the much missed Rory Gallagher. Lots of great interviews, clips of videos and insights into the great mans life. Documenting his early beginnings playing in Irish show bands to the formation of the formidable 3 some Taste to his prestigious solo career, it covers the entire gamut of his career. There some big names in the music industry giving their praise to his unique take on rock and blues, inc Slash, the Edge, Cameron Crowe, Bill Wyman and many others. This documentary should appeal to not only those who are fans of his music but people who are fans of music in general. The only downside for me was the pontificating of Bob Geldof. Rory was a a great musician, a great loss to us all
