My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore (2015) Reviews
All of Meh...
My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore is directed by Jose Javier Reyes and it stars Vic Sotto as Vito, Maine Mendoza as Anna, Aiai Delas Alas as (I didn't know her character, lol), Alden Richards as Dondi(?). This movie fails on so many levels. The directing, story, music, set design and editing sucks so bad that you can't believe this exists in 2015. This isn't supposed to be called a movie. Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's characters was meh for cash grab only. All of the characters were one-dimensional and you didn't really care about them. Speaking of cash grab, this movie was full of vulgar product placements (like all Vic Sotto's films) that they exceed Michael Bay's product placements. And oh no... Part 2 is coming!! The only strengths of this movie is Aiai Delas Alas and Vic Sotto's performances. And Valeen Montenegro's character is great in this film.
Not worth your penny
I'll be brutally honest here. My Bebe Love is offensive because its ambitions are low with no solid plot for the audience to follow. It bears no palpable conflict, and the film basically just goes back and forth over petty issues that the narrative itself does not seem bothered to resolve. The movie is nothing more than a forgettable hodgepodge of clichés and bad old jokes. Half of the movie is injected with product endorsements. It's like an extension of Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye. Dear lord! We want our movies to be served on a silver platter, not on a paper plate. Don't watch this movie. If you're curious to see it - just get a copy from freeware (just don't spend your hard earned cash for it). Not worth your penny.
Great movie.
Good stress reliever for a hard working person. It is perfect for the whole family to watch this holiday season. This movie does not limit audience, it caters all ages. I love the story line and there is no dull scene in these movie. The comedy has just the right blend with perfect timing. You will laugh from the start to finish. So refreshing from what we used to see from these lovely couple - AlDub. I recommend everyone to watch this movie. I love this movie because is not trying hard when it comes to comedy. Unlike the other movies, it focuses on how to make people happy. Good job everyone and I'm so happy about the outcome of the movie.
maine needs more exposure
Last time i went to the cinemas to watch a pinoy movie was about 10 years ago. Im not a fan of aldub but i like maine mendoza (meng). I would gladly pay just to see her pimpled face anytime bcoz shes pretty so i dragged my family to watch this movie bcoz like me theyd rather slit their wrist than be tortured by slapstick humor. She didnot disappoint. Every costume and style change is just breath taking. Money well spent i would go to her next valentine movie. 10/10 just for casting meng Oh about the actual movie i feel its lacking in memorable scenes or anything that i can relate or fantasize (wish it were me) feeling. All the characters do is work and shout. My beloved meng was cast as a bored rich kid with zero hobbies or skills. All they made her do was look pretty. If this were a classic pinoy movie there will be more singing and dancing together. A duet between meng and her boytoy would have made a spectacular ending. Instead i write this review at 4am feeling empty I wish the valentine movie will be better. More character development and exposure for meng. I know she is just a supporting cast but she is my only reason for being there.
Watch Kalyeserye instead
The romantic-comedy film starring Vic Sotto, Ai Ai delas Alas, Alden Richards and introducing, Maine Mendoza. Vito, a strict single father, protects his daughter Ana in having a communication with Dondi, the nephew of Cora, Vito's business rival. I am a fan of Kalyeserye and AlDub. Like Kalyeserye, this movie gave me laughs. Like Kalyeserye, this movie truly involves Filipino culture. Like Kalyeserye, actors were good and fine. Notice something? Yes, it was a Kalyeserye rip off, in my opinion. It had a lot of problems throughout the movie. The storyline was very weak, many scenes were irrelevant and it also consists of a predefined plot. The obvious and loads of product placements that made the movie a movie made from commercials. The cheesy and lousy script. Well, a very disappointing movie.
