Towers of Terror (2013) Reviews
Possibly the worst thing I've ever seen
Okay, where to begin? Aside from the completely obvious fact that this film was in extremely bad taste and deals with 9/11 in a horribly insensitive way, even worse than the way terrible disasters were handled in films like 'Chernobyl Diaries' (2012) and 'I'm Not Ashamed' (2016), 'Towers of Terror' just wasn't a good production, anyway. It looks cheap, the "special effects" were like something out of a video game, the acting was laughable at best and the soundtrack was annoying as hell. Who in their right mind seriously thought that a 9/11 zombie flick was a good idea? Okay okay, I realize that censorship doesn't help anybody and that sometimes 9/11 jokes here and there are going to start popping up in the media, but 'Towers of Terror' just goes WAY too far in a way that was obviously meant to be offensive and disgusting and cruel simply for shock value. I love horror and historical media, but this was too weird, tasteless and frankly stupid for me personally. Maybe other viewers will appreciate it more than I did... oh, and did I mention that it features women in miniskirts having sex in the World Trade Center? I'm not sure if that's supposed to be funny or just plain bizarre.
